Are Humpty Dumpty (Canadian) Bacon Hickory Potato Sticks vegetarian friendly?
As meat ingredients are not used due there short shelve life, like cooking potato chips or other snack in lard, I had a friend who worked at Hostess in Cambridge ON and there is no meat, the smoke flavouring is made from vegetable sources, like fake bacon bits, I buy hickory flavoured popcorn salt and the Bulk Barn to add a smoke flavour to my veggie foods, like veg burgers and when I marinate tofu for grilling. I prefer the Hostess Hickory stick, and have used them in salads, crushed to bread food with and on top of veggie mac and cheese.
