Please review FAQ #12 on this page for more information. • What is the definition of a “hospital outpatient department?” A: In order to be considered a hospital outpatient department, you must be a Medi-Cal provider type 15 (Community Hospital Outpatient) or 61 (County Hospital Outpatient) as defined by CCR 22 § 51112.
