are hors doeuvres included in the cost of a cocktail party?
The cost of attending a cocktail party covers your admission to the event. Drinks and food are additional. Lite hors d’oeuvres are often provided at our cocktail parties, but they are complimentary and are offered so that you can enjoy a small plate to sample the cuisine of the restaurant. They are not a substitute for dinner. If you do arrive at a cocktail party hungry, I suggest you patronize the venue and order dinner from their menu. On many occasions, I’ve seen couples pair up and small groups get together after our cocktail parties to stay and enjoy dinner and there have been many relationships that have come out of those dinners…food for thought.
