Are HIV test results accurate after 7 months?
No- unless your immune disease leads to a SUPRESSED immune system (in auto-immune, it’s just a crazy one) you’re not at risk for false negatives based on the inability to form antibodies. At 7 months, you can be very very sure that you are negative- at 3 months, 99% of infected people test positive. At 6 months, it’s essentially unheard of (except in the case of clear test failure) for anyone to test negative while being positive.
