Are high schools being considered for closure?
High schools were reviewed but were not considered to be viable options by the committee. Closing a high school will significantly impact the entire articulation area of that school and the surrounding articulation areas. When you close a high school, the middle school and elementary schools that feed into the high school will need to be redistributed to other articulation areas. This causes significant disruption of multiple articulation areas.
