Are Heaven and Hell real?
Yes, Heaven and hell are real. They both exist. Heaven or hell first starts in our own hearts. (Romans 14:17 says “The Kingdom of God (Heaven) is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost”) If our heart is filled with peace and pure joy, heaven has already started in our life. Similarly, if our heart is filled with fear, torment, hatred, confusion and darkness, hell has already started in our life. In Luke 15:13 we see when the prodigal son left his father’s home and “wasted his substance with riotous living” he began to experience hell. He confessed to his father-“I have sinned against heaven” Lk-15:21; then heaven was once again restored to him. The torments of hell and the comforts of heaven differ depending upon one’s works on earth. For instance, the hottest place or the depths of hell is prepared for immoral people (Prov. 9:18). The highest rewards and the greatest heavenly pleasures are for those who lived a humble and holy life, serving the Lord
