Yes, primary education and health are the main concerns. What are the activities undertaken? The Foundation has set up about 7000 libraries in rural areas. Most of them are in Karnataka with a few in Maharashtra. A number of non-text books mostly in the vernacular have been donated to inculcate the reading habit in children. The foundation has also helped in construction of school buildings and funding scholarships. It is also constructing two hospitals at Pune and Bhubaneswar which will be ready by next year. The hospital at Bhubaneswar will be a super speciality one. Is the Foundation involved in other activities like giving grants to temples and other religious structures?
