TD Waterhouse Investing in Youth initiative helps bring the 44 year old challenge to the inner-city HALIFAX, Jan. 31 /CNW/ – Through the support of TD Waterhouse’s Investing in Youth initiative, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Young Canadian’s Challenge is being brought to inner-city and disadvantaged youth in Halifax. The TD initiative is part of a national outreach designed to increase participation in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Programme by ensuring the Award is made available, without barriers, to all youth in Canada. The TD investment has provided funding for a local Duke of Edinburgh Field Officer to recruit and support Halifax participants.
