Are guppies, neon tetras, danios, & platies compatible for a community tank?
I would personally wait for the tank to finish cycling unless you add some filter media and possibly some gravel from an established aquarium, this will give you more instant bio bacterial colonies and this is method that is used by far the most by the professional aquarium maintenance community (which needs faster more sure results for their clients). Then move on to the slightly more aggressive danios (although adding the danios initially is ok too, I would generally like to establish the livebearers first.
