Are GU24 sockets compatible with LED lighting?
LED lighting has been an efficient way to operate traffic signals and other industrial technology for years. Today, LED lights are also becoming more and more common for commercial and residential use. LED manufacturers are faced with the same challenge that all lighting manufacturers deal with: how to dissipate the heat generated by the bulbs. LEDs are very bright and intense, but they get quite hot, and extreme heat requires appropriate heat sinks to meet safety regulations. Luckily, LED technology advances with each passing month, and once issues like heat are addressed, we see no reason why LED lighting shouldn’t be compatible with GU24 sockets.
