Are Greenland and Alaska polar regions ?
Define “polar regions”. If you define them as areas that lie totally within the polar circles, look at a map and see for yourself. If you define in in terms of climate etc, once again look at a map. Polar region is a fairly useless term. You are better off using terms like Tundra and Taiga. These terms describe climate, land use and vegetation rather than just location.
