Are green chillies hotter than a ripe red chili?
It depend and the first answer and the one before me are closest, plus I am a former chef and there is another rule the smaller the hotter, a small green Thai bird chili is hotter than a longer firecracker one and the Naga Jolikia which I have in both sauce and dried form is the world’s hottest pepper, but is never use fresh but dried.
