The Provost’s 6-10 Regulation requires the dropping of a course(at any level) when it violates the Semester Rule, that is, the course is approved for the regular year, but not offered within the last six fall/spring semesters. All thesis and individual instruction courses are exempt from the 6-10 regulations.
