Are Graduate Certificate students eligible for a GA or TS?
The GA/TS policies and provisions do not include certificate students as eligible. In general, certificate coursework students fit the part-time approach and courses are not offered in sufficient volume to warrant full-time appointments such as GA’s or TS’s. Exceptions may be considered on a case by case basis but are not encouraged to apply as the demand for GA’s and TS’s by degree seeking students will be given priority.
