Are goods made in China obsolescent junk?
It’s not just Chinese stuff, most manufactured goods these days are made very cheaply with a lot of plastic that makes them very undurable. American stuff, too. We have to make stuff chintzy to keep up with their cheap prices. I have plenty of Chinese-made items that have lasted just fine, though. I use my zip drive to death and it’s served me faithfully for years. So has my handbag, as well as several clothing items.
