Are goby dragons aggressive towards one another?
I used to have a dragon goby too and I remembered reading on a site that dragon gobies should be kept alone or in groups of four or more. Otherwise the stronger goby will harass the other ones and if they get too stressed, like any other fish, they are more susceptible to diseases and could die as a result. “Ed” appears to be the more dominant one which is why he’s bullying the two smaller, weaker ones. Its up to you on what to do. If you have another tank then you can separate him, but then the other two may start bullying each other. You could just keep Ed and return the little ones. Or if you have a very large tank you could buy a couple more to have 5 gobies. But you’re definitely going to need a very large tank and I’m not sure what size you have right now. I’m not sure if they will establish a pecking order to be honest. I kept mine alone until I gave him away. You could keep the small ones for a week and see if they learn to avoid him.
