Are gnr (new) better than velvet revolver?
Actually, there IS a “new” GNR… they have some songs off an album called ‘Chinese Democracy’. Personally, I think they should have quit while they were ahead… and I don’t think the newer stuff is worth the money. Although some of the songs are decent, I must say there older stuff was much, much better. Don’t expect them to be the same band they were twenty years ago. This album is all over the place and I don’t think that there is any particular sound that they have on it. In fact, at Korn’s launch party for their tour in January, 2006, Axl says: “It’s a very complex record, I’m trying to do something different. Some of the arrangements are kind of like Queen. Some people are going to say, ‘It doesn’t sound like Axl Rose, it doesn’t sound like Guns N’ Roses.’ But you’ll like at least a few songs on there.” Also… In a Rolling Stone article in 2006, former Skid Row frontman and Gilmore Girls bit-player Sebastian Bach described the album as “mind-blowing” and added, “It’s a very coo
