Are girls supposed to shave their private areas and if so, how?
I so wish someone would have told me it was okay when I was younger. I feel so much better being shaved or trimmed, plus it reduces smell. Yes, you can shave as little or as much as you want. I have my husband shave me with an electric razor. There are special shaving gels and lotions (marked bikini zone) you should use, and make sure you are well lathered up. If you are using an old or cheap razor and are too dry, you can get some pretty bad and painful razor bumps. You will need to keep it up often if you want to stay hairless. But the good thing….you can always let it grow back in whenever you want. When you are older and do start having sex, you will learn that some boys like hair and some don’t.
