Are generics substituted for brand names without a request from the doctor?
After placing your order, we contact you regarding the prescriptions you have sent us and will let you know where you can save more money if there is a generic available. We must fill your medications as they are written only if your physician indicates “DISPENSE AS WRITTEN” or “MEDICALLY NECESSARY”. If you would not like to order generic drugs, you can simply let us know, either on the forms you submit or verbally over the phone. Your prescriptions are then checked by our licensed pharmacists. If there are any questions regarding your prescription, they will contact you or your doctor directly.
