The typical tractor with an OMNITRAC positive drive track system is using less fuel than dual-tire tractors, at the same time providing more horsepower to the ground. Independent tests show improved tractive efficiency when a OMNITRAC system is utilized. An OMNITRAC-equipped tractor delivers 65%-70% of the horsepower to the drawbar, while a tire-equipped tractor delivers only about 50% of its horsepower to the drawbar.
