Are Frequent Flyer airline tickets always the best value for money bookings?
NO. Sometimes there are reduced air flight costs that are more advantageous (especially short haul to Asia/Pacific/Domestically) as they have fewer conditions, do cost some money but allow more flexibility. Additionally there may be instances where you should use points/miles in the future for that “big” trip away on Business or Pleasure and not erode the points for smaller bookings. This also applies to Hotel or Car rental redemption bookings.
