Are Freddy Kruger films damaging to children?
Horror films are graphic in the use of gore (blood and guts) usually in humans. This can have the effect of disgust in some people, who enjoy this. Some people the idea of children viewing these images can be damaging. I only disagree in which the films glorify the images of gore. This may inspire some people, children included, to think an act of violence is normal and ok to not only watch be do in real life.The world is full of horrific images. Humans have done, and continue to do horrific things to each other. To watch this as entertainment, suggests we believe this is a positive thing for humans. You be the judge. I believe yes, it has the potential to damage children, but children should know about how other humans treat each other and their world in reality.
