Are foreign languages required in textile degrees?
No but we highly encourage students to study abroad and to take language. You are required to take a language placement test if you want to continue in a language youve already studied. NOTE: All languages start with the 101 and 102 levels but these levels do not count in any degree at NCSU. You will be provided time to take language placement tests at Orientation. We can add a language if you wish then or you can add one when you register early and change it later if needed. ADIVCE: Take the language placement test during Orientation if you think you will ever take more of that language.
