The Maryland Food Bank has a Nutrition Education Program in partnership with the USDA and the Maryland Cooperative Extension. We are currently in the process of hiring a nutritionist who will consult regularly with our network of community food providers about nutrition and food safety through workshops and site visits. Our warehouse is regularly inspected by Feeding America, the US Department of Agriculture, and the Maryland State and Baltimore City Departments of Health.
