Yes. Several tests have been designed to rate the performance of firestop products. One of the most important tests is ASTM E-814 FIRE TESTS OF THROUGH PENETRATION FIRESTOPS. In addition, UL has developed UL 1479 FIRE TESTS OF THROUGH PENETRATION FIRESTOPS and UL 2079 for construction joints, to evaluate the performance of firestop systems.
