No, at this time there is not a way to check for a virus on the Blackboard server [or any Internet based server]. The best way to protect your computer/files is to have a virus protection program like Norton AntiVirus [http://www.symantec.com/downloads/] or McAfee [http://us.mcafee.com/] installed on your computer. USF offers Symantec AntiVirus to current students and employees for FREE. Select the Anti Virus Software at http://www.usfca.edu/its/security/index.html and log in with your USFconnect username and password to install the software.
