The secure method available for connecting and publishing files to your MyWeb site is SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol). For information about using SFTP go to: http://myweb.uiowa.edu/ftpinfo.htm SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption is also enabled on the server. To invoke SSL, link to your site using https instead of http with the URL. As in: https://myweb.uiowa.edu/HawkID/… Files or pages called using https are then secure (encrypted) during transmission.
