Are Fenerbahçe Interested in Julio Baptista?
Futbol transfer rumors are flying this time of year, and the latest European star linked to a Fenerbahçe move is Real Madrid star Julio Baptista. The midfielder seems to have fallen out of favor in Madrid, and the club seems resigned to letting him go at the end of the year. So, is Baptista a possible target for Fenerbahçe? Several sources, including Turkish newspaper Milliyet reported on Friday that Fener was indeed interested in Baptista, citing Spanish publication Diarioas as their source. The rumors surrounding Baptista seem premature at best, however. Diarioas has indicated that Baptista is likely leaving Madrid at the end of the season and his future is up in the air.
