Are feminists being separatists?
Well, the laws that are passed regarding gender protect both men and women: if women discriminate against men, the laws will protect the men. If we ever reach an actual state of equality, then the laws will be unnecessary. Until then (and even after,) we need to make sure that everyone is treated equally. Yes, there are some women who want women to be the “controlling gender.” Just as there are some men who want men to be the “controlling gender.” Until the sexes are equal, we need feminists to make sure that women are not second-class citizens. I would like to state two things.
