Yes. Mass service disruptions are events declared by Telstra and notified to ACMA, that are beyond Telstra’s control, and cause the disruption to large numbers of services. Examples of mass service disruptions include floods and bushfires. Even though faults that occur as a result of a declared mass service disruption may not be eligible for CSG compensation payments, they are subject to NRF reporting. However, the presence of a mass service disruption may be considered in any assessment of the need or scope of remedial work.
