If there is a reason to question whether a service animal accompanying a student to classrooms or offices is a service animal, faculty/staff may ask the student who has the animal if it is a service animal and what tasks the animal has been trained to perform. If faculty /staff have any additional questions regarding a student enrolled in their class with a service animal, please contact DRES at (217) 333-4603 (v/tty). If faculty/staff have any additional questions regarding visitors to campus who have service animals, please contact the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access at (217) 333-0885.
