Are external DV deck, DV camera, and computer control possible via IEEE-1394 connector?
A26: Yes. The PRV-LX1 can control DV decks, cameras, and computers (equipped with a firewire card) through the IEEE-1394 interface. This setting is available within the operation section of the recorder’s Function menu. However, some DV decks and cameras are not compatible and may return an “unknown device error” message.
