Yes, exemption from the Foundation Certificate is available to delegates who have either obtained a prior qualification that covers much the same ground as the STEP Foundation Certificate, at the same level, or who have obtained a degree level qualification. Exemption from up to a maximum of two Diploma papers is possible where the applicant has obtained a prior qualification that corresponds very closely in both content and level to the STEP Diploma paper from which exemption is sought.
