Perhaps most commonly known as the food of choice for koala bears, Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globules) is an evergreen tree that is native to Australia but grows around the world, according to University of Maryland Medical Center. Long used by Aborigines to treat a variety of ailments, Eucalyptus oil, distilled from the leaves, is now found in many commonly used products around the world.
