Yes. Using Microsoft OLE (Object Linking & Embedding), many of the ERP software vendors provide interfaces to standard personal productivity tolls like Word processing & Spreadsheets. BaaN provides a tight interface with MS BackOffice that BaaN ERP software and MS BackOffice can co-work seamlessly. SAP uses their ALE (Application Linking) technology to provide similar features. Ramco Marshal & Oracle Apps too provide similar application integration.
