Are EQC filters as safe as traditional lenses?
Yes. In fact, our EQC lenses are actually safer than traditional lenses for several reasons: (1) you can keep your helmet in the down position at all times, making sure you don’t get an accidental flash, (2) all Jackson EQC’s provide 100% IRUV protection for your eyes, even when they are turned off, (3) you can concentrate on the job at hand and not be preoccupied with adjusting your helmet before every weld, and (4) neck strain from nodding your helmet down is reduced.
