Are empty topic areas “dead”?
No, they are not. A topic area could be completely empty, and yet very much “alive”. The best indicator for this is the number of subscribers. Every subscriber will receive an e-mail every time a new thread appears in the Topic Area. Remember also that every closed thread is removed from the Topic Area. A topic area with few open threads might be one with a quick turnaround and very happy customers.
