All Emerus facilitates are either licensed by the Texas Department of Health as specialty hospitals or operate as satellite hospital facilities. The hospitals at Aubrey and Sugar Land are physician owned. Physician owners include John Buck MD, David Kirby MD, Toby Hamilton MD, Dan Middlebrook MD, Randy Park MD, Hemant Vankawala MD.
