But if you see the reasons, the deeper affliction in the relevent spheres would cause more pain than the incidents reported here: Police force already inadequate for the functions of security, suffers serious misuses, like – the lower staff being sent for household services of senior officers; the deployment of massive numbers for the VIP security, public meetings, etc at the cost of the routine beats, crime monitor and prevention, etc. Rank interference in their duties by ruling political party men holding even party posts; etc The worst part of the Govt function is a clear demo of their disregard for corruption: The unholy transfer of the former Director of Vigilance and Anti Corruption when he was taking sincere efforts to raid offices notorious for corruption and won apprecaition from public, was a great signal to the law enforcers that govt does not like any ‘harassment’ of officials engaged in corruption, because they shared booties
