Are ebay aloud to take there fees straight out of your bank account without permission?

As the first answer, you must have signed up to pay your fees by direct debit, and therefore they can take the fees directly – basically you did give them permission. If you can prove that you didn’t give them permission, they they are legally obliged to return the money, but as you owe it anyway, you’re unlikely to get it back. You can cancel your ebay direct debit at your bank which will stop this, but obviously you will still need to pay the fees. Ebay are pretty aggressive when it comes to collecting, so better just to pay them.
