Are earthquakes caused by volcanoes?
Nope, they are caused by the shifting of tectonic plates, when the force of two opposing plates, normally not in motion, but under great pressure, suddenly cause a shift of the plates, which cause the ground to suddenly move(earhquake). It’s believed that the gravitational influence of the moon creates more tectonic movement then there otherwise would be without the moon.
