Are dwarf hamsters nice?
It depends on the breed. From what I have heard and personal experience with two of my own, Roborovsky Dwarf Hamsters are an incredibly friendly breed of hamster. I have never been bitten by either of my two and most pet store owners I talk to said they haven’t heard of someone being bitten. You might get one that is an exception to the rule but more or less they don’t bite you. They would definately be a breed I suggest to you. You can even purchase two of them as long as they are either in the same little or at least near the same age. There can be problems but generally as long as you keep watch on them you won’t have any for the most part. Toliet paper is fine as long as you use unscent. Though you might use something like a pine bedding (don’t use cedar) as it is typically cheaper as you need to fill their cage enough for burrowing.
