Most drugs, including heroin, methamphetamines, cocaine, weed (marijuana) are illegal in Thailand, but are also easy to find. Marijuana is quite common among the elder Thai population, but is still illegal. If you are caught by police with illegal drugs, you will be arrested, convicted, and deported from the country within 48 hours never to return. In some cases, Thai prison sentences are handed out.
