Are domestic students guaranteed a place in the on-campus housing?
Monash Residential Services provides accommodation for students from many backgrounds, courses, personalities and expectations. There are many domestic students in residence together with many residents from international backgrounds. Domestic and international students are given equal opportunity in acquiring accommodation. The application selection process is based on a first come first serve basis. Monash University receives a large number of international students who enrol every year and MRS has an obligation to consider their application for accommodation within the same process as domestic students.
