Are dodge vipers really good cars?
They’re tremendous cars. I’ve owned many high performance cars including BMW, Maserati, Corvette and Porsche and my 2006 Viper Coupe out-performs all of those. You don’t buy a Viper or any other high performance car and expect a comfortable ride. That’s not what those type cars are about. Buy a Mercedes, Jaguar or Cadillac if you want ride in comfort. When you strap into a Viper you’re in for the E-Ticket ride of your life. It’s a car that has a stiff ride, a quirky shifter and gets hot inside because of the side exhaust. It’s perfect. That’s what a car like that should be. Unfortunately, most of the people that responded have never even ridden in any of these cars. They rely on Car and Driver and Motor Trend to do their testing for them. I’ve owned them. Trust me, these Vipers are phenomenal.
