Are documents related to engineering reviews of proof tests, preoperational testing, and operational testing required to be included in the LSN?

A. Yes. Testing required to demonstrate that structures, systems, and components important to safety will perform satisfactorily in service must be controlled in accordance with 10 CFR 63.142. Test procedures for proof tests, preoperational testing, and operational testing are required to include provisions for assuring that all test prerequisites have been met, adequate test instrumentation is available and used, tests are performed under suitable environmental conditions, and test results are documented and reviewed. Activities that the NRC staff will review to determine that the requirements for test control are described in Section 2.5.1.3, Acceptance Criterion 11 of the Yucca Mountain Review Plan.
