Are dobermans still vicious even when raised & trained from a pup?
Dobermans are not a vicious breed, in fact, a vicious Doberman would be disqualified from competing in a dog show since it goes against the breed standard. Dobermans are dominant, protective and fearless, but they are also gentle and affectionate when handled properly. I have 4 Dobermans, 3 of which were raised in abusive situations and not one of them is vicious at all. When they have a responsible owner that knows what they are doing, Dobermans are the ultimate family dog.
