Are Disney bus wait times shorter at higher-end resorts?
The wait times at the value resorts (other than Pop Century) are the longest because they share buses between all 3 resorts. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside which is also know for slow bus service, but that’s because it’s physically far away from everything. My reading on Disney forums leads me to believe that wait times at the luxury resorts like Animal Kingdom are much better. Also, the Wilderness lodge also has very nice boat service which I really enjoyed. We found that going from the resort to the parks wasn’t too bad, but going from resort to resort (which requires changing buses) was useless because of how long it took. We always drove unless we had a direct bus. Also, there are rumors that Disney has cut back on the number of buses running in order to cut down on their fuel costs.
