Globalization = commercialism, political uniformity, & exploitation of vulnerable people, animals & natural resources world-wide Yes. Globalisation will destroy us all Under the banner of globalisation, developing nations are being targeted as new markets and forced to give up their traditional cultures by converting to poor copies of western-style ways of living. Instead of their diversity and culture being valued as World Heritage, they are made to feel inferior if they do not try to adopt Western ways. Examples abound. Democracy is being forced on countries, which are not ready for it. Democracy in England has taken centuries to gradually evolve; Spain (after Franco) and Russia (President Gorbachov) tried to create instant democratic societies, but there are always problems when trying to adopt democracy too quickly.
