Are dental X-rays safe for pregnant women?
Even though our X-ray equipment is safe and the risk to you and your baby is very small, please let us know if you are pregnant or suspect that you are pregnant so that we can take the extra precautionary measure of skipping the X-ray unless it is absolutely necessary. In the cases where we have an immediate need for an X-ray, we will use a special lead apron to provide protection for your abdominal area.
